NCIX in general is driven by volume, my rep at Ingram told me that NCIX can order over 50 HDD each day, which means they can have the volume prices even lower than what I can get at Ingram. There are also manufactuer's incentives/cash rebate. Like Seagate/WD will give $20 rebate if purchase 10 HDD at Synnex.
Business these days are driven by volume, profit is 2nd because if you can do the volume, manufacturer will pay you to sell their things.
The good thing about NCIX is that they indirectly drive components prices down in Canada, even cheaper than in US and HK. My friend asks me to get certain Intel CPUs and WD HDD here because it is far cheaper than HK.
