You moron, it is the government responsibility to figure solutions. These politicians gets paid by the taxpayers. One option is to learn from Hong Kong, which has no debt.
First, you claimed Chinese came here to buy real estate, then you claimed they all went back, LOL.
If so many people went back to China like you claimed, how come the ethnic Chinese population is increasing here?
If Chinese immigrants are so rich like you claimed, then they have already contributed large amounts of GST, HST to the governments, when they buy stuffs here.

The main reasons for big government debt and deficits include the inept fiscal management by the governments.

No one has ever said social housing will not work here, in general.

The government has reduced social housing at the Olympics village, because they have to cover the big debt from building the Olympic village. They should never have borrowed money to build the Olympics village.
Social housing is inadequate in all regions, including lower priced areas, not just at the Olympics village.

According to Stat Canada, RICHMOND is considered one of the poorest
city in Canada, because very few people paying income tax.
The immigrants leave their family here, with big houses and fancy cars,
using public  medical and education system then declared as non-resident
and DO NOT PAY TAX.
Some Cacausians  pity Richmond residents and think they are under poverty line.

never have to pay due to low or no employment income
on their tax return.A man from China leases a 4-Acres farmland from gov't  for  $10,000 per annum.
he rents out the farm house for $20,000 a year, grows and sell vegetables to
restaurants for cash. He declares deficit on his tax return and receives gov't
subsidize. Free medical care for his family. And, he owns 3 new rental houses.....
