    Peter, you will never understand what a girl thinks!  Especially when it comes to buying brand name luxury purse/wallet etc!!!  If we are paying around $1000 or more for a purse, of course I would hope that my LV or Chanel etc purse are made in France/ made in Italy, instead of made in USA. However, if I buy a Coach, I won't mind that its made in China, because with the price I'm paying (around $300), I don't expect it to be made in USA, or even made in France etc etc.  And you can't compare buying a purse to buying a car, its a totally different story!  The price are so different too la!  And I have to say, if I buy a Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, I expect it to be made in Germany.  For example, If I want to buy a Porsche, BMW, and found out that they are made in China, or made in Mexico, then I will definitely NOT buy it, bcuz I think with the price I am paying, I expect good craftsmanship, and expect them to be made in Germany!

The mentality that "foreigners are better".
It is this type of mentality that is preventing Chinese people from developing luxury brand name products.
Somehow foreign products made us feel better. That is why foreigners look down on us.

Even if you carry a LV bag, people don't respect you. But if you drive a Chinese brand car, foreigners will give you the highest respect.

Made in China means high quality products, equal to or better than made in Germany or France.
