I am actually quite concern about possibility of diasaster; however, my family and boyfriend they don't seems to be concern...

I have been trying to convince them to discuss about a meet up place if anything happen, since we all live so close....... but so far, they just ignored me

BTW, I live real close to hydro plant..... if earthquarke does happen, will that be a big issue???

比多個tips比大家,

相信大家都可能因為去滑雪, 行山, camping, 等戶外活動,
都會買咗套FRS Two-way Radio, 最新的形號可以有56km的通訊半徑。
我見過有些一家大小行mall或大型supermarket都會用佢互通. (當然, 現在大多用手機family互打唔計錢)

我就與親友們約定了一個災難時的共通channel及privacy code.

因到時, cell phone應不能運作, 應用FRS就可以在lower mainland與各親友聯絡及呼應互助.

我都覺得要個emergency plan㗎，所以先開呢個topic。唔好話你啲屋企人啦，呢度啲老友都好hea咁話＂有災難嚟咪等死囉，等上帝召我上天堂囉＂，其實到大難臨頭咪又係想搵返啲家人同朋友，想見步行步....

BC Hydro嗰啲plant呀, yes, it's within walking distant to that plant...

漏電... that's what I worry the most >< I dun think there will be serious flood? We live by brentwood area...

I thought of walking toward hasting and Willingdon....if there is a serious earthquake though, there are quite a bit of eatery around that area....
