How do you even know they use local sourcing for instant noodles? Hong Kong does not even grow wheat. The Japanese have to import the flour to Hong Kong for making instant noodles.

wheat can be imported from china.  china = local in hk smartass, wheat production is probably not even enough in japan to cover domestic use.  出前一丁 doesnt even have a huge difference in taste in the first place, you know not only ingredients will affect the taste, just the oil itself could cause a difference.

oh god, you are really smart!!!  do u even know whats the main ingredient for coke???  its call WATER.  do you think they would import water from Georgia to the rest of the world so they can make coke EXACTLY the same as where it was originated?  actually, do you even know HOW coke is produced???
coffee beans are only produce in certain parts of the world.  coffee beans are NOT locally sourced.  but I don't see the milk starbucks uses in hk is from dairyland.

For those who love and praise Japanese manufactured food products so much,
do you guy know that the Japanese imports tons, actually by tons of REFINED OIL
(refined from the discarded cooking grease from restaurants, and meat scraps from butcheries)
everyday.
The refined oil is colourless and tasteless, proven hazard to human health and banned
in Canada. What do the Japs do with the refined oil? Frying  lovely looking instant noodles, rice
crisp snacks and tempura. The refining business is growing in Canada thanks to the Japanese.
