試想想...o係o個個時段有好多細路仔玩緊....突然有個人跳左落黎...成地血.........o的細路仔會嚇到顛左囉!!

有冇人估下點解o個個人要揀o係aberdeen 自殺呢??

what time did that happen?  good that he didn't land on another person on the ground...  really sad that he chose to die in front of many people..   so irresponsible....

Did you guys listen to fm96.1? The news on fm96.1 reported about the incident today in the afternoon. So there was no cover up at all.

Err... I thought it is very reasonable.
It is just a suicide case all in all.  What's the big deal about it that it has to be on the news right away?  Just b/c it happened in aberdeen?

【明報專訊】列治文時代坊商場昨日中午發生華裔男子跳樓自殺喪生的驚悚案件，目擊者稱一名30多歲華裔男子從3樓美食廣場附近，越過玻璃護欄縱身跳下，墜落至1樓噴水池旁萬聖節布置旁。救護車趕至進行搶救，但墜樓男子終告不治。

列治文皇家騎警發言人巴絲拉(Nycki Basra)昨日亦證實，這是一宗自殺案件，但對自殺案件，警方一般不能透露詳情。

一位不願透露姓名的女目擊者告訴記者，當時跳樓男子是自她座位旁的一處玻璃護欄，縱身跳下，男子看來是約30多歲的華裔，當時他自己一個人，事前沒有跟人吵架或是說話，本來安安靜靜一個人往樓下的噴水池望去。她完全想不到，下一秒鐘該男子已越過護欄跳下，且倒在一樓地面。

這名驚魂甫定的女士說，她向樓下看去，看到男子倒地面朝上，顯然是頭部撞擊地面，她說，遠遠看去，雖未看到地面有大量血跡，但死狀仍非常恐怖。

另一名從美食廣場被疏散到封鎖區外的學生則說，他只知道有人跳樓尋死，但過程他沒看到，警察來了之後，要求大家疏散。他說，平時喜歡和同學在時代坊美食廣場吃午餐，從來沒遇過這種事，實在太可怕了。

列治文皇家騎警在接獲報案後，至少出動4輛警車及多名警員前往現場，大規模的封鎖案發現場。死者則留在現場，用布蓋上，警員調查至下午2時許，才將死者抬離商場。

在警員調查期間，封鎖區內商舖亦將鐵門拉下，將留在店內的客人疏散到非封鎖區，由於案發時正好是中午12時半左右的午膳時間，是美食廣場最繁忙，人潮也最多的時候，該男子突然從天而降，墜地慘死，令很多在場目擊事件發生的顧客感到震驚，場面更一度陷入混亂，不少市民從樓上往樓下衝去，想看倒地男子的情況，另外有人立即打電話報警及召來救護車。

對於在封鎖區外的市民，則不知道警方封鎖現場的原因，現場維持秩序的保安員，亦表示一無所知，市民於是對封鎖區內發生的事，議論紛紛及作出不同的猜測。

本報曾嘗試聯繫時代坊發言人，但可能因假期至截稿時仍未有回應。

I was there yesterday afternoon (around 4?), and was wondering how come so many shops are close on a Sunday, and it was kinda easy to find parking.


We over heard a lady talking to her friend saying someone die earlier that day, and the cops just re-open the area. We didn’t believe it , so we quickly search the news right after that lady left, but all we found is there was a power outage in the area, so we though that is the reason why there are so many shops close.

I didn't see anything unusual near the Halloween display at that time. Good that I decided not to see the display yesterday.

I was there around 1pm... I wish I was there half an hour earlier...

I agree 120%.  He could kill if he landed on someone.
