IMO the white balance is off a bit -- your camera is tricked by the massive pinky flowers.  You can reference the leaves and adjust until the leaves are green.  Then your flower will get better colour.

rickrick there is this "aperture priority shooting", and also a "focus" button,
which i suspect can help me take cool close up photos, like those with clear focus for the main object and fuzzy focusing for the background thingee ...
so i messed around and get this kind of photos
