西岸無風打，連雪都無東岸咁大鑊．

地震之外，水災啦．．．海嘯，
雖然有vancouver island擋咗大部份，但若方向咁啱就由南北兩端海陝中衝入．

另全球性的災難：Solar wind, 地磁移位，突發冰河期．

Don't let the long range of the FRS fools you.  That is theoretical range and to achieve that you need a direct line of sight.  If you go to Costco, you will read "3km range in urban areas" from the box.

On perfect flat surface, I remember the range will be ~11miles max since the curvature of the earth will limit the reach.

Anyhow, these 56km range FRS are way more powerful then those 5km one that I had before.

當然知道啦，我七八十年代己在香港玩CB.　有時要靠雲層玩反射．．　hehe.

依啲機仔，多個山頭高高低低，2km都有難度啦．好彩lower mainland都幾平.

My neighbor down my block has a big ass antenna sitting at their backyard.  It is like 15ft high with 10ft radius.  I think he plays HAM radio.

又嚟多個友情tips，

住single house的LYK，提意你買十塊八塊3/8”厚4’x8’plywood，2或2.5吋釘及鑼絲各一盒，我把板放好在車房挨牆，用簡單的結構固定，有事時，可以取出，封門封窗。
