You didn't get my point.
I mean if you treat an animal your friend/family member, eating it is cruel.
So, if you treat your pig/sheep as your friend/family member, eating it is cruel.
By the majority, I guess most people treat cat and dog as their close friend and family member, so if they seeing other people eating those animals will feel sad and it's cruel to them.
On the other hand, most people don't treat pig and sheep and cow their friends/family member, so people eating them don't feel that sad and it's not cruel to them.

The key point is how people treat the animal, not love some kinds of animal but not the other. Got it?

Another example, I guess the majority of people are having opposite sex love/marriage. So most people would feel embarrass, uncomfortable or even disgusting to see other people having same sex love/marriage. However, it doesn't necessary mean who is right and who is wrong, it's just their personal choice. Why there is so much noise? All because of "majority repels minority" lor. And as I said, this is the 社會景像, nothing to do with "right or wrong".

so why do u and intrex complain?
seems like Koren and some Chiense treat dogs as meat, and they are not eating your dog(s) anyways

anyways ,killing is curel, this is the fact, family member or not

For the cats/dogs lovers, it's 壞事 to eat cats/dogs and not 無謂/無乜意思.  period.

Of course, you are entitled to your very own opinion.  and I won't comment that as  無謂/無乜意思.

To certain people, such as gardeners and plant lovers, they think killing a plant is cruel too. So, human shouldn't even alive/exist? I just tell you how most people feel, which you can have your choice to face this fact or not. I'm not convincing you to sign that letter. Actually I didn't sign either. After all, this is a forum for discussion, doesn't it?

I don't eat dog, not because eating dogs is illegal in hk and canada. I dont think I will eat dogs even I am in China or in Korea.
I just think that the notion of forcing the WHOLE population in a country to accept some other people's value is Barbarians

I only treat MY PET as friend/family member, not EVERY SINGLE OTHER ANIMAL that I cannot reach.  I adore many other animals too, but it doesn't make me rage over how they should not be eaten by human beings as long as they are not endangered species.  Your point of view makes me wonder how old are you....
