Canada is boring for people who doesn't know how to appreciate the culture of the country.
To me, Hong Kong is even more boring, because I don't how to appreciate HK Style.
I have a list of restaurants I don't even have time to try.
Many outdoor activites I don't have enough time for.
Gatherings or cook-offs at friends' house every second weekends.
I like to have more time to walk and enjoy local small parks.
On top of that, I love to visit Seattle for even more decent restaurants.
I would like to continue my golf range practice when I have time.
Between all these, work, family, and gf, I really don't have enough time.
Boring? Depends on how you enjoy the resource we have in Canada.
If you think singing K, reading magazine, watch tv and shopping is fun, then you should try to open up your mind to join some Canadian activites .
Btw, I work crazy OT and I don't get paid OT, because I am on salary.
60+ hours per week, weekends, day shift + late nights.
Yeah both my husband and I OT too but no OT paid. The most is get the day off.
Vancouver is not that boring ...it's actually not fair to compare Van to HK...different style. HK/New York is metropolitan type. but Van is lacking the glamour and it's never a big city la.
yeah...Van is beautiful...
Last time I went to Calgary...i would say that is boring...
the landscape is so flat....almost fall asleep while driving...the view doesn't change for almost 3 hours ! (on our way to dinasour place)
My parents will take tram/mini-bus when they go out...rarely take taxi lor...
My Mom's reason is that taxi driver always speeding so she's kinda scared wor
