I guess it would depend on what kind nay saying your references would tell, and compared to what they saw at the interview.
It could be bad if Ref. A said: "Oh, she was a great worker at the beginning, always early and gets the job done. Eventually we found out she she we the one that stole all of our sticky notes, then we found the mosaic of Jesus she made with the sticky notes on our roof." etc...
I think if I ever need my current boss to be my reference in the future, here is what he will say: "He was great. He came to work on time on the first day. Then he was always late for 30 mins. 2nd year, 1 hour. 3rd year, 1.5 hour. 4th year, almost 2 hours. If he is still working for me now, I bet I won't see him until lunch time."

Thx Thx for giving me so much tips for this...
Just 1 more questions
How can I skillfully resign without starting fire with the company that I am going to quit? It's hard to start to talk about it. ...
Same here... I am ready to give out my resign letter to my boss too.
Here is my version. She just came back from vacation today...
and given her couple days to settle down....
And I know she is hiring more accounting people anyways..
so I would just tell her that it's too far away from home plus i want to focus on my education so that's why I'm quitting lor
But it was such a pleasure to work with her and she taught me a lot.
I feel sorry to leave her too but I am determined on cont'd on my education.
blah blah blah, if necessary, add a few drop of tears or red eye
