How was it during Christmas?

I plan to go with the tour this Christmas.

Yes I've been there. It's a nice place for x'mas. (Little Germany...)
BUT...it's not easy to get there...especially in the winter...

I went with a tour group... so no driving and I like the little town but I hate tour group.

That was my last trip going with a tour. (and it's 10+ years ago)

Been there twice...little germany. Kinda reminds me of Steveston village with little shops and lots of souvenirs.

We went there during X'mas eve few years back.  Didn't take a tour but drove there in a big snow storm.  Fun, but scared my wife out since I have to get there "fast" enough for our X'mas eve dinner.

The town was pretty small, but beautiful.  Only complain was that all the stores and shops closed at X'mas day (not surprise anyway).

many shops close on christmas day... so you'll be walking around in a dead city.
