Any reason you are not buying RRSP?

1) Future tax rates will almost certainly be higher than they are right now
2) You won't take the money out until you retire (most cases), but you might not live till you retire
3) Clawbacks if you have too much in your RRSP
4) It just sits idle in your account and it's very easy to forget about it
5) There are a lot of restrictions on how you can invest in a registered account

6) If you decide to migrate to another country, you need to think about when you want to withdraw it
7) Many people passively put it in some shxt mutual fund and let it erode
8) A few thousand dollars a year won't make you rich when you retire

But then, out of my own self interest, I would much rather see more people shoving up RRSP, since it's one of the foundations of the stock market.  Imagine what would happen if everybody decides to keep cash and sell their funds/stocks.
