What type of food do they serve?

I tried.. Ma Ma Day.  Doesn't worth it.  
1)  small portion
2) Boiled egg is not the "Sugar Heart" one.   
3) taste is nothing special.

Other japanese sushi place in DT has better beef don.

i tried too

- yes, small portion
- the regular beef-don is worse than hong kong's gak-yeah-ga's beef-don
- the bbq rib don is better than the beef-don

i rather spending the money on kushi(japanese robata) next door

i have tried couple jap sushi in DT. I think Sushi Zero One  (on Pender) is quite good. Not expensive and pretty good quality. They have not much seat, so mainly for take out.   i like their Don.   http://www.sushizeroone.com/

ic..how about Japa Dog on Robson? Any comments?
I'm right next to BC Place, I sometimes go to Subway near library, or VCC for lunch, if I don't pack anything from home.

japadog(the store) is just opened this week...haven't tried yet

i like vcc too.  if you can go a bit further, aki on thurlow has pretty good lunch deal.
