True, I certainly agree with that.
If there is one thing I've learned from growing old, it is this -- get a grip on your impulse and tread carefully when venturing into new, uncharted grounds. A lot of times, new stuff doesn’t just mean they are new – it also implicitly implies that they have yet to be fully tested. This is especially true when technology is involved. New software is always buggy. New hardware will always have glitches. New cars will always have recalls, TSBs, and new running changes incorporated. If peace of mind is what you are after, then don’t buy bleeding edge stuff and stick with what is tried and true. If you want to be at the forefront of the latest trends, do that to your heart’s contents, but be prepared to pay top dollars for it while running into initial teething issues because that’s what you are signing up for.
Maybe you'll just think of me here as a naggy old man, but in time when you get wiser yourself, you too will understand what I am talking about here.
