Yesterday lunch time, i saw this YSL French Manicure kit. I heard about it a while ago, and it's out already! $52 + tax for the 2 pens...so i got it! I haven't tried it yet (because i just put on the new Chanel spring color on monday). it looks easy enough to do a nice French manicure DIY at home!

i was going to buy my Dior stuff yesterday(which my hubby got for me   ) and then i went by the YSL counter & saw that it's out!!!! i can't wait to try it on one of my hubby's fingers tonight!  

btw, the new Dior spring colors are nice....
i got one of the new 5-colors, & 2 shimmer blocks. so damn shimmery!!!

I also bought it today. The SA showed me on my one hand and I liked how easy it is to apply. After I went back to the office, I did my other hand in like, 3 minutes.

Alc, do you have Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick? I wonder how the shimmers compare to the Dior shimmer blocks you got.

no, actually, i don't own any Bobbi Brown products. but i'm planning to buy their gel eyeliner next when i go through my stock.
i haven't tried BB shimmer brick, but the SA at Dior told me that the Dior shimmer powder has similar texture. i bought both Dior shimmer powder, but haven't used it yet. I plan to give my mom the pink one (cus she needs blush), & i'll use the Amber one myself. Going to use it tomorrow when i go tea with my lo-ye & lai-lai.... i'll post about it before i go out...hahahahahhahaa

you so lucky, can do your nails in the office. you know, today i had to CAREFULLY work in my office because i don't want my pretty manicure to chip!! LOL. maybe i'm too 粗老~ kakaka

but i was really shaky doing my right hand using my left hand to hold the pen. since it's a pen & the tip is different, i had extra trouble to keep it from shaking. if it's like regular nail polish, i can do it no problem. but once you get the hang of it, it's really easy. & i used a piece of paper to test the pen...make sure the flow of white liquid is enough...cus you can't really tell ga mah
