我兩日前訂左兩本書，但好似個日期為2月19號先可以送到，有無人知點解要咁耐，應該唔會因為缺貨掛

It depends on the stock and  the supplier ... they are quite reliable and most of the time I received the items ahead of schedule.  If it says "in stock", it should be pretty quick.

I had no problems with 3rd party shipping as well.

Backorder is a different issue.  I got dragged for 3 months one time.  (i.e. Estimated availability date got shifted about 5 times).

i've gotten stuff from amazon.com a few times
shipping times were reasonble

but amazon.ca is worse
i placed my order (2 textbooks) on jan 15
and they shipped it out TODAY
and it'll take abt another week until i actually get it..

Amazon.com is from US, that means it will go through custom. That will take about 2 weeks.

I like dealing with Amazon.ca because they always upgrade my free-shipping to express.

Amazon.com and Amazon.ca are 2 seperate entities, both have different shipping policies and terms.
