Well, I think Hawkings can say that based on various scientific findings, that THE God (the one that created earth whatever 5000 years ago, in 7 days, something like that?) probably didn't create the universe as we know it. Doesn't really disproof creationist theory all together tho.
On another note, don't know about the timeframe, but in general I agree with Hawking. Human must be able to colonize space or will definately go extinct. I think this is trivial fact. Given our political wills however, I don't know if this will happen soon enough before we go extinct...
Is this what his new book about? Isn't it already written in many other books by other authors?

why terminated? because one will say "there is no reason. God exists because it exists. no question. It is a fact"
Anything is possible.
The ones who say universe NEVER be created by itself are just bias.
Same for the ones who say there is never be a god are just bias as well.
Be open minded, anything is possible. Just that you don't know, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
If there is other universe out there, did god create them too??
How many universes have been created by the god? Can someone ask the god and tell us? Then we go confirm if it's right?
