[日本料理] New Ramen Restaurant On Robson Downtown

I'm really sorry I forgot the name of it hopefully someone can help me out with it.
I was there this evening with my friends.
It's not bad ^_^ and the combo prices alright too.
The ramen itself is a different ramen than the one on demand (sorry for the spelling) but actually the side dishes (not sure if that's how it's called) such as the pork, corn, and etc. aren't bad.  Should really try the one that has pork, I think, on the side and then the bowl of noodle.  When you put the port inside your mouth it really just melts and feels so good.

Sorry I thought my I'd have pictures of it but then somehow my friend's phone is messed up so couldn't get any pictures and upload it

Hopefully you guys know where I'm talking about.  It's right diagonally across from the mcdonald and right behind the bus stop.  I forgot the name of the restaurant sorry for being so bad with my memory

Anyways it's not a bad place to go and try even though different people have different taste but do try at least once.

I just asked my friend if she remembers what the name of the restaurant is and I think it's something like 山頭火.  If not then it must be something really close to it.

山頭火 is great, but not new la...!

I am starting to dislike Jap noodles.  Big bowl of noodle with just 1-2 slice of pork.  Now is not WW2, we are not in short supply in meat.

Good Taiwanese Beef noodles tastes much better. Or Hong Kong style Jap noodle (ie lots of everything)

oh oops my friend told me it's new how long had it been there though?

I understand what you mean by only 1-2 slice of pork but it's just different style from different places TW beef noodles is good too I like it too

more than 6 months
I was there once during the winter olympic

oh, if you plan to go to Glowbal.  You can go the Italian Kitchen (Burrand Building) to buy gift card (20% off).  So a $45 menu becomes a $35.

Beside.. that fact that it may not be very healthy to eat fatty ramen.  I do pick Jap Ramen overy HK & TW, but that's just me..!  I eat 1-2 Ramen a day when I was in Japan, and I wouldn't mind eating Ramen few times a week.  But only the good ones..

山頭火 is indeed very good, and very close to some of the best one I had in Tokyo.

Japanese ramen is not really about the meat, it's about the soup and the noodle.
I actually don't mind eating one with no additional meat on top.
I like 山頭火's soup base but as my bf said their cooks didn't show much passion. well it's a chain restaurant what do u expect.
