•Warning for women walking on UBC campus
VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - RCMP are warning young women using UBC campus to be extra cautious after another groping on University grounds.

This time, a woman was getting into an elevator at a student residence early Thursday morning, when she was groped by an Indo-Canadian man. The woman was not harmed, but the suspect took off before police arrived.

The suspect is described as 5'7'' to 5'8'', 25-30 years old with a heavy build. He has no noticeable facial hair and shoulder-length dark hair parted in the middle. At the time of the assault, he was wearing a light hooded sweater and blue jeans with dark skater shoes.

This is the third such incident on campus in the last two months.

On October 7th, a woman was grabbed by an unknown man. She was not harmed. In September, another woman was walking along University Boulevard after midnight when an Indo-Canadian man tried to grope her. The woman was able to break away and was not harmed. No arrests have been made so far.

Rob Vermeulen with RCMP E-Division says they're careful not to create an environment of fear. "But we do have an obligation to warn the public that there is an unknown suspect, so we're asking the public to try to limit the opportunities for this person or this type of people."

Vermeulen says it's unclear if the three incidents are linked.
