Would you ever contact company after interview

Hihi~ I just wanna know after your first interview...and you were told by what date you'd know whether you get into round 2 or not. Then you weren't contacted....(so you know that you probably didn't make into 2nd round), would you call the HR who you had an interview with and asked what's the status and ask for feedback on your first interview?

Is that an appropriate thing to do?

I probably won't call...if they want you they'll call you...trust me...

You should call them up or just email to them.  Maybe aggressive is what they are looking for.  But do not call too many time to bother them because that would get different result.

Yes, call.  There might be delay in the candidate selection due to various factors. OR they might have already selected someone else, but your call could make you a future consideration to them.

Be smart about your call. You don't want to sound pushy, but you'd want them to see you are proactive.

Good luck.

Don't call them because it's not that appropiate and I don't think they want numerous calls from people.

BUT, you can send a thank you letter to their e-mail, that should your sincere and manner

Try this http://jobsearch.about.com/od/in ... s/qt/accomplish.htm

I think this link is very helpful and it has different type of thank you letter sample which is very useful.

email is not nice enough....send an actual mail is better....especially when you know the names of the interviewers (or at least the HR manager at least)

Always send a thank you email/letter after your interview, within a couple of days.

But if it's more than a few days, then the email is unnecessary since the interviewer probably forgot about you already.

Don't waste your and their time and move on la...
