Be the first to Comment  0 Recommendation(s) WHISTLER (NEWS1130) - Once all the gifts are opened, what's the plan?  Many people are packing up and hitting the local slopes.

Typically on Christmas Day, and especially this year because it falls on a weekend, the folks up at Whistler Blackcomb expect a busy crowd.

And with great conditions, including 100 centimetres of snow in about a week, they're also expecting a great overall season.

Ryan Proctor with Whistler Blackcomb says they usually see people from all around the world.  "There are a lot of locals around, especially with the amount of snow we have.  And then we have a lot of destination travellers too that come here for the holidays.  A lot of people are from Europe, UK or the US.  It's kind of a mixed bag."
