There is an existing budget Japanese Restaurant called "Ogenki Sushi" around Main and 27th, and it recently had a new ramen section. I gave a try yesterday and it looks pretty nice (the environment is a bit like Benkei). Surprisingly, the ramen section is managed by a Japanese chef. The quality is pretty decent; price about the same as Benkei but more noodles. I went there because my friend gave me some coupon from Kxxx food magazine. Worth a try if you hang around that area.
I tried it 2 days ago ... with the 15% off coupon, is pretty good deal actually
I order the soy soup base with Spinach ramen
the soup is very tasty
and is big portion too ... very full
waiter and waitress are japanese
P.S. i went around 6:30pm, but only a few customers, probably because it is too new and not much advertising?
Tried them last week and it was so so. Soup was not hot enough and portion was not big as "a8239" mentioned. Oh yeah and the noddle was too soft for my taste! I think I'll stick with Kintaro and "Mountain Top Fire" lor!
