2 VANCOUVER(NEWS1130) - We're used to all kinds of boats in English Bay, but there's a bit of an unusual sight on the water right now -a BC Ferry anchored off of Stanley Park!
Deb Marshall with BC Ferries says the Northern Adventure is just making a brief stop as they wait for the tides to change in Seymour Narrows, so the ship can head back up north. "I know it's an unusual situation to see a ferry in that location but she's just finishing up a refit and heading back home."
Marshall says the vessel was just doing its annual 3 week re-fit at the Deas dock.
The Northern Adventure serves the Port-Hardy to Prince Rupert and the Prince Rupert/Haida Gwaii routes during the summer.
