PENTICTON (NEWS1130) - RCMP are looking for a 35-year-old man accused of a violent sexual assault on a stranger in Penticton last night.

Police say David Wesley Bobbit tied up a 22-year-old woman and sexually assaulted her in a second hand store in the presence of her 22-month-old child.

Police say Bobbit is a threat to public safety because it was a stranger attack. He is wanted for attempted murder.

The woman is expected to recover from her injuries.
