VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Which off-leash areas are working and where are the trouble spots?  There are 35 dog parks in Vancouver, but before they are expanded or anymore are added, the Park Board has a little work to do.

Board Chair Aaron Jasper says there have been some conflicts between dog owners and other folks and they need to be resolved immediately.

A 45-page report, "Update: Dog Off-Leash Areas," suggests off-leash areas should be part of any park planning process.  Jasper tells the Vancouver Sun he's in favour of physically separating the areas because imaginary boundaries just aren't working.

The Park Board is looking for feedback and will discuss the report next year.

Off-leash parks were first introduced in the city in 1997
