EBay 2nd chance offer? chance, offer, EBay

Hi,

I have encounter some scenerio in ebay that I haven't deal with before,
So I hope to share it and get some comment on what to do from you guys

I was bidding on a camera that is going to end today
This morning i recieved a email from [email protected] saying the auction is closed:
eBay Listing XXXXXXXX Cancelled - Results Null and Void

Then later in the afternoon i recieve a email from the seller:
You've received a second chance offer: product name (XXXXXXX)

I reply I am interest in it, then it reply me with the following content:

Price: $450
For this product I offer free shipping.
This is new in sealed box and with 1 year warranty.
Shipping method: UPS Express.
Time delivery: 3-4 days.

This time I'm in United Kingdom for a business trip and I'm unable to process the PayPal payments.
For both protection I want to enrole this transaction in the eBay Exchange Package system.
This is a 100% safe method.

Transaction process:
1. I'll send the package to you through eBay Exchange Package Service.
2. eBay will inspect the package and will send you the notification with the payment details through email.
Also you will receive and the UPS tracking number.
With this you can verify the shipment status online.
3. You will send the payment through MoneyGram on the eBay officer name. You can find a MoneyGram location in any bank.
5. After you will send the money through MoneyGram you will reply with the notification received from eBay with the Reference Number and your complete name exactly how this appear on the MoneyGram receipt.
6. eBay will approve the payment and will delivery you the package through UPS Express.
7. After you will receive the package and you will inspect it you will inform eBay about that and they will release me the funds.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: You will don't send any money until you will not receive the tracking number from UPS.
Do not contact me if you aren't serious buyer or if you are interested in scamming methods as eChecks, etc.

If you agree with the terms then send me your complete name and address for shipping and I'll ship you it today.

is it trustable?
Coz eventhough I will obtain the tracking from UPS, I can't be sure the parcel inside is my camera right?
is this person scamming on me?

You must go thru the ebay Process  as well Paypal system to get protection

seller going thru outside ebay are individual transaction not related to ebay...and if it's a hoax.. ebay will not handle you case

UPS will not be able to check anything when no one ship anything to you.

eventhough I've heard of 2nd chance offers..the fact that the seller refuses to process thru Paypal has SCAM written all over it

do not arrange payments/transactions outside of Ebay and Paypal unless you personally know the person...and in this case, they've actually give you a pretty crappy explanation of why they cannot go thru Paypal.....so DO NOT agree to this!

eBay Exchange Package system????  This is obviously a scam. No such system exist!!

MoneyGram or Western Union is pretty much banned on eBay because of all sort of issues tracking it. Similar case

There are tons of 2nd Chance Offer scams on eBay, please be very careful about it. If someone is convicing you to process the transaction outside of eBay, you can report it and have the seller banned for good. This is also circumventing the eBay fees structure. As you can see, now eBay blocked partial user names on all auctions, mainly to prevent others impersonating the seller to do business out of eBay.

Normally, your info should not be seen by others on the auction. I guess someone managed to get access to the seller's account and started mass-mailing bidders for fake 2nd chance offer.

To verify the validity of the email, I prefer to send correspondances through My eBay's messaging system, caz it's the official channel.
