You can have a big impact on the environment by shopping for a gallon of milk instead of two half-gallon containers. In fact, it takes so much less energy to manufacture a bigger container, the average household could save enough energy to run a refrigerator for three days by shopping for a gallon - or more - of milk. Remember to put your empty milk jug in the recycle bin!
