Buy a refillable pen.
Plastic pens are often made from nonrenewable petroleum products. During the manufacturing process, pens made from PVC plastic release dioxins - the same chemical used to make Agent Orange - into the environment. It takes fewer resources to manufacture refillable pens, and since you can use the same pen over and over, there is also less waste. |
