BURNABY (NEWS1130) - A man in his 20s is dead after being hit by a car on Lougheed Highway near Phillips Avenue in Burnaby.  Shortly after 4:30 a.m. a man called RCMP to tell them he believed he hit someone with his car.

No word if the driver will be charged, but police say he is co-operating with investigators.  The road is expected to be closed for several hours.
