First hand experience: I was talking to a Taxi Driver in Miami, he complimented on the Chinese investments in Africa, he noted we were providing technological skills as well as investments in the poorer countries. The white people had been exploiting the Africans for manual labor for centuries, so racial relations between them are hostile. I am very satisfied with the Chinese governments foreign policy, we just want to do business with the outside world, have no desire to conquer. It is our internal policy that needs to be corrected.
First hand experience here as well, the Pakistani chef at my work place kept complimenting how China help their country while the west is ripping them off.
