What to do in/near Bellingham ? will, casino, about

I will need to stay 3 days in/near Bellingham, and I have a car.

Any suggestions of interesting places to eat and go?
I know Bellis fair, but how about other scenic places (if any) ?

Anybody tried the casino restaurants nearby, are they good ?

Drive a hour back to Richmond to eat and  movie. then go back there to sleep.

Tulalip is ok.  the buffet is ok.  but it will take you 1.5 - 2 hrs drive.  

Bellis fair has nothing.

The food is OK at the casino buffet.  The cashier would ask you to tip,  which I think many restaurants are like that nowadays but I still haven't got used to.    And of course the outlet place could save you some money on clothes...  No idea on scenic places.

I missed the days of Vancouver when the kids at service station had no idea on tipping, and chased me back to return the quarters that I didn't collect.

Just do whatever internet shopping, ship to the hotel you stay ...  easy to save few hundred to thousand ..
