I think Harper got a strong base within the Chinese Canadian community. My mom voted for him, in no way will I vote for Harper. All his cabinets are Anglo cowboys..To have a real multicultural society, I think we need to vote for Liberal's ignatieff, atleast he is russian canadians. These anglos are racist pricks

Well, I used to support Liberal...but seeing how they did in the last election...too disappointed...and so far Haper did quite good on economy...I think I'll vote Conservative.

Well, Harper appointed Richmond MP Alice Wong as Parliamentary Secretary for Multiculturalism.

Conversative is extremely dangerous for us minority. I think the Chinese should not just always think about wealth and the economy, rather the health of our multicultural society. You already see seperetist movements in Quebec right now. Also do you really think Harper has Chinese-Canadian's interest at heart? Alice Wong is 63 years olds for christsakes, do you think she is a capable official to represent us? if so find your mom to be minister la, harper knows and use her as puppet to get Chinese votes all along, smart campaigning move.

Well, there are some who think the conservatives are the extreme right wing.
Harper has tried to improve relations with China, after he realized China is such a big economic power. The Liberals and the NDP need to get organized for the next election.

我原本支持Lib, 但他們太 ’自由’, 過咗火位, 遠超我可以接受的底線. 依家又一盤散沙, 選唔落.
Con就so far ok啦, 我比較喜歡Jason Kenny, 勤力做, 又有膽做, 好過啲 ‘唔做唔錯又四年’.
今日來睇, 暫時都係選 Conservative.

peter, please note that Harper only decided to improve relations with China in his 2nd term majority. Remember when Martin was in power, he improved relations with China right away

I used to be with NDP too, but think they have no experience in governance...I read some of his books including Rights and Revolution, his vision of a multicultural society is really in sync with what I feel about Canada. He has some interesting theories about relations with America, also. Wouldn't think he would be a good leader, but definitely would vote for him.
