METRO VANCOUVER - The Canada Day long weekend has landed but whether you're camping or taking in the fireworks on Sunday, you might want to pack plenty of rain gear.
Environment Canada weather forecasters are predicting a soggy weekend for Metro Vancouver.
Today and tonight are expected to be cloudy with periods of rain, according to the federal agency, with temperatures hovering around the mid-teens.
Then, on Saturday, the region can expect more rain and a high of 17. On Sunday, forecasters predict the day will be cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers.
And expect more clouds on Monday, with a low of 13 and a high of 19.
As for summer weather in the forecast, it doesn't look like Metro Vancouver will see any lasting sunshine until Wednesday.
