Well ..  I know ..  with the luck from Shames .  both my team and you guys team are out ..  

However, let's see what will happen!!


West:

~Detroit ( 1 ) vs Nashville ( 8 )

I have to give a hand on Nashv, the most impressive team of the yr, with all the key players left, still make the playoff, however, they are facing the Red Wing, and it is not the Read Wing 3 or 4 yr ago ..   

Red Wing in 5 !


~San Jose ( 2 ) vs Shames ( 7 )

The hottest team vs the most dirty+lucky team ..  what can I say? one is hottest .. one is Ugliest .. (but I hv to give credit and respect to # 12 and # 34, + Curt Joseph is awesome!)

Shark in 4 .. ( this is what every Hockey's fan want to see .. but in real life, Shames is good at home, because those silly Calgarian are blind to their team .. Shark may need 6 games to kill the Shames .. )

~ Wilds ( 3 )  vs Colarado ( 6 )
Let's give a big hand to the wild, what a hard working team, and they dont' play boring hocky anymore ..  however, with Colarado playoff experience, Jose is in good shape, Sakic and Forburg .. It will be a good and long series ..  

Colarado in 6 !

~ Ducks ( 4 ) vs Stars ( 5 )

Star is always good ...  but they are fading with the red hot ducks and sharks ..

Ducks in 6 !

Let's talk about the more exciting EAST !!!

~Montreal ( 1 )  vs Boston ( 8 )
Canadian .. what a low profile team .. no super super star .. but play as a team, and still the most respected team in NHL today ..  hard working ..

Will see how the 19 yr old young goalie Price will do, he is AWESOME all season .. will be another Cam Ward .. and Montreal is a FULL TEAM Team ... and they toasted the Boston for last 2 yr ..   

Montreal in 4 ..  (sorry Boston, you are running out of luck)

~Pittburgs ( 2 ) vs Ottawa ( 7 )

What can we say ? 2 monsters in Pitts .. and they played Sens last yr .. know how they play ..
Poor Sens ..  one of my favorite team, but they are terrible now, from # 1 down to almost out of playoff ..  and their goalies .. sigh ..

Pitts in 5 !

~ Washington ( 3 ) vs Phi ( 6 )

WHAT A FINISH! MAGIC in NHL history, NEVER EVER a team .. who was in the BOTTOM after first half, can make into the THIRD spot!!  hottest team in the east, hottest player in NHL ... # 8 is the brightest star in NHL now .. 150 million player is not gimmick!

Washington in 7  (since we all want to see Alex to play more! lol)

~ NJ ( 4 ) vs Ranger ( 5 )

Probably the closest match up in the first round ..  NY is always good and stable, and just 3 pts shy of the division title again ..  on the other hand, Ranger is Hot in the last 15 game, and play good team work, and finally, has a goalie can match with Brodeur .... and Ranger owns the NJ all year .. but NJ has better playoff experience ..

NJ in 7 ..  (dont know .. 50/50 lol)

Oh man .. as expected ..   clase game on every NJ/NY series ..   As Lundqvist outshines Brodeur ...  NY  sent NY home  ...  

Detriot series and Shark series .. so far, big surprise too .. who can think of Shames can last to game 6? and also, Nashv almost take 3-2 leads ...  

I think Duck may hardly come back .. but will see ..  

I wish Washington can come back too ..  but .. Flyers outplays them, esp defence!!!!

WOW ..

HOW excited round 1 was!!

Most results are as expected, nothing really "cold door" ...  no Dark horse ..  

Few surprise ..  Shames can last till game 7 .. and Boston can force game 7 ...  

We all want Washington advance to second round, but as all expected, super close series with Flyers, game 7, OT ..  

Some disappointment from NJ, even 4-1, series, but every game was close, it could be a 4-1 NJ or 4-2 or 4-3 ...

Stars is another great team, as expected, very close game with the Duck, beside game 1 and 2, ducks was a bit choked ..


Well ..  it is ROUND 2 time!!!

GO FLAMES GO !!

Who doesn't hate Flames?

I live in Calgary ..  and I still can't like them ..  

Anyone who watches Hockey ..  will hate their style ..   HIT HIT HIT rough rough .. no skill at all .. when lead just ONE goal ..  already play defence ..

However, I have to give them credit, # 12 is the best player in the west now, and #34 is just amazing ..  without them? Flames is done ..


Let's enjoy ROUND 2 now .. all are good teams .. and all games will be fun and excited to watch!
