Parks that are great locations for BBQ?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to plan an outdoor BBQ with a group of friends at a park. We usually go to Barnet Marine or Buntzen lake, but would like to go elsewhere this year. What other parks are great for BBQ (lots of picnic tables and perhaps bbq pits?)

Thanks

If you gonna bring your own BBQ stove along (portable, either propane gas type or charcoal), then pretty much most of the parks with park benches will allow you to do so.

My take RE: Rmd would be Gary Point Park. I've been to Cambie's King George park for BBQ. Others like Golden Ears lake day-picnic area allows you to bring your own BBQ as well.

Centennial beach down in Tsawwassen has BBQ pits but can be a hassle to fight for a spot due to very limited pits availability.

Thanks Quest.
Does Garry Point park still have bbq pits? I went there ages ago and vaguely remember there were BBQ pits back then...

FYI, charcoal BBQ is not allowed at Garry Point.

I think BC still have open fire ban. So only gas BBQ until they lift it. (no charcoal)
