Racism in Vancouver identity, perhaps, culture, freedom, Always

Always had encounters with racism, perhaps more in the past few years due to racial tensions. I encountered racism from CBCs claiming I am too "Honger", why do I have assimulate in to the Canadian culture when the Charter of Right protects my freedom? Why should I conform to Canadian lifestyle when the Canadians are arrogant and rude to my social identity?

well, speaking of which, the only times that I got laugh by other Canadians about my English were from CBC as well......Usually Caucasians are much more patient to listen to my English with grammar problems and honger's accent

BUT, this is a big BUT, its funny that the CBC that I have met with since I migrated to Canada are so extreme. Some of them are VERY VERY VERY nice, but some of them are on the very contrary. I didnt have much chance to meet those in-the-middle groups

We can't blame them though. because I believe way back to late 80s and 90s when vancouver/toronto are flood with Hong Kong immigrants, those honger kids (now uncles and aunts) always laugh at the CBC and saying them banana, stubborn, fake Caucasians or something like that.......
