San Diego suggestions

Planning to visit San Diego soon.
We are planned to go to Sea World, Zoo and the Wild life Park.

Any one visited the Legoland before? Is it for kids only?
Vancouver is ______ !

Legoland is for people who are crazy about Legos. It won't take much to impress those crazies anyway as long as there are legos. Rides are designed for kids under 10. If your kids are over 10 OR you are not crazy about Lego. Don't go.

We do not have kids going with us.
Is there anything special to see or shop beside going on the rides?

There is a Lego Store selling currrent lego lines, nothing excited.

There is "Miniland USA". They use Lego bricks to reproduce famous places such as San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge, Taj Mahal, Sydney Opera, Las vegas Hotel Stripe, New York City, Mount Rushmore.....  You can stand up close and take picture. That's about it. But keep in mind there is a 30 or 40 some dollars entrance fee, can't remember exact.   If you stop by other attractions like Disneyland, SeaWorld, Zoo, Studio, you can probably find some coupons for something less.

Well, if you spend time with girl, "Bird whispers, fragrant flower" is all you need, the girl is all you care.:

We went last year during Christmas time.

Go to GasLamp district for dinner, go to Nobu Japanese restaurant at Hard Rock Cafe, go to Balboa park, it's HUGE and contains a lot of museums (we went when we were done with the Zoo).  Go to fashion vally mall for shopping, go to La Jolla Cove for the 360 view of the ocean.   Go to the ocean side to look at the marine ship and the big "kiss". We stayed at Horton Plaza, which is like 2 minute walk to the mall....

I suggest not going to Lego Land as well.
