I looked into Combi when my son was younger and I found the basket too small for me..haha
I tend to stuff a lot of stuff into the basket (baby bag, my purse, jackets..etc). Also I thought the stroller felt a bit flimsy..the back support is just by one strap to determine the angle and I didn't feel comfortable using that. I ended up with a lightweight avalon stroller...it is about the same size as Combi, it costs 1/2 the price and it has a HUGE basket in the bottom. It also folds easily but of course it doesn't fold up small like the Combi.
Graco is HUGE and I used it when the baby was younger..but soon I abandoned it because it took up the entire trunk when folded. Also it was crazy heavy.
Which Combi stroller are you looking at? Sometimes the sales in Canada are not bad...the lightweight Combi have been sold for $69.99 here.
I bought a lightweight stroller in toysRus before i went back to HK. That's a really good one, small and easy to fold...the only concern is the basket is quite small. It's only $79.99. I also find Maclaren is a good one too, even though it's more expensive than the one i bought. Most of them can lie down flat. Most of the people in HK use Maclaren for the lightweight stroller.
very sturdy, big basket and only about $35!
Also I like the bar in front..It makes me feel safer to have something between baby's legs in case he wants to slip out or crawl out.
yes, I super like this one too with this price, it was in zellers, but they are all sold out la,
There was still a display one 2 months ago in Richmond,
and they are not allowed to sell the display one.
