yeah, I may consider stopping by @ HK disneyland later this year with my kids.....(en route to Asia)...that way: it works out favourably than simply planning another separate trip to Cali disneyland...

My kids are not big into disneyland and characters, so I may be able to get away w/ it by just going to the cheepest one (and they have no excuse for us not bringing them there when they grow older)...

Since we don't have plan to go to HK in the near future, might as well go to the closer Disneyland.

And yes...it's $1000 for 3 days (3 person) Disneyland admission alone....pretty darn expensive.

yeah, with the poor exchange rate these days, it makes the trip quite "painful", I'd say.

Other than disneyland, I'll be keeping my family's outdoor activities to within the province, or down to WA and not more....

well, at least until the exchange rate recovers..

    I already bought the Disneyland ticket from Costco.ca which is already cheaper than the US site I have look around. But still $1000 admission, and hotel antoehr $1000+, flight $1000 too...not counting the meal $....it's gonna make deep cut to the wallet ar... >_<

OK...It's been a while...
Disneyland in CA is good...(crowded though), magic morning is good but we didn't make it...getting up too late. If willing to spend a bit more, I'd rather staying in hotel closer to Disneyland. The one I stayed is 15-20 minutes walk. It's pretty tired after a whole day walk and still need to walk back to hotel for another 15 minutes.

For younger kids (like mine is 4 yrs old), she enjoys Legoland a lot. And I highly recommand the Legoland hotel. Special theme room and just so much fun!

And to my surprise, San Diego in March is windy and quite chilly. Even Legoland is quite cold.
