with all the trees around stanley park, is bbq alound.  if so where at stanley park.  i don't want to get in trouble by the park authority or firefighters.

i thought it was prohibited 2-3 years ago due to danger of wildfires... even lighting a cigarette is not allowed.

but i found this:

Feel free to use our parks or beaches, other than the bookable sites, for your picnic, subject to these rules:

• no rentals or caterers
• use only 1 small table or the portable tables that may be located in the park, a BBQ, blankets and lawn chairs
• 50 people or less
  (Maple Grove Park – 25 or less)
• no permit required

i was thinking the same thing too.."staley" park and "aloud"... at first i thought... yeah it is OK to bbq loudly....why not? LOL
