Joe Junior, “The 1960s Cliff Richard of Hong Kong” and one of the most profound icons in the Music Industry to date, has been melting the hearts of all with his sensational, flawless vocals for more than 40 years. His career first took flight when he became one of the top winners of the New Star Talent Contest in 1963. Since then he had made his prominent mark in the music scene by producing numerous heart-felt hits with his band. His band, Zoundcrackers, was soon recognized by Diamond Label, which brought his career to the next level. The band produced back to back chart-topping hits, such as “Once Upon a Time”, “No No No No”, “I Gotta Find Cupid” and “I Only Came to Say Goodbye”. One of his most memorable hits, without a doubt, was the widely known piano driven ballad, “Here’s a Heart”, which made it to the top of HK RTHK Pop Charts for 7 consecutive weeks. Eventually, Joe Junior pursued his solo career, and his gentle pop ballads were immediate hits, drawing in an enormous crowd of admirers. This year marks his 41st year in the music industry and to celebrate this memorable moment, Joe Junior is having his 41st Anniversary Concert. Joining Joe Junior on this concert is Hong Kong’s most watched group, FREEZE, and the famous radio host, Larry Lo.
