Many companies scaling back holiday parties to save money - how about yours?

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - The world economic crisis means there could be less merry-making in the workplace this Christmas, as many companies are scaling back their holiday parties.

This morning's Globe and Mail reports corporations all over the world are looking for ways to cut back this Christmas.

Many are scaling down their guest lists, others are hiring student chefs to prepare the meals and others are even resorting to Christmas luncheons instead of the traditional dinner and dance.

Experts warn against axing parties altogether though, saying that could kill any remaining shred of morale that's still sticking around your office.
