【明報專訊】農曆新年是小販擺賣掙錢的良機，一對賣煨番薯的母女趁年卅晚，在西環卑路乍街後巷叫賣，遭食環署小販管理隊票控及拘捕。途人見狀代為求情稱「個個都想回家團年」、「家境好都不用擺賣啦」，有人更願代交罰款。惟販管隊人員充耳不聞惹起公憤，引來近 200市民圍觀及直斥不近人情，事件擾攘個半小時，母女終被帶走，一名熱心市民奉上100元給她們送暖。

被販管隊票控的女事主姓陳（53 歲），與20餘歲的女兒一併被帶走，兩籮番薯及手推車遭充公。街坊表示，陳婦非全職小販，僅每年年卅晚至初三才到西環卑路乍街33號一後巷叫賣煨番薯。該處屬旁邊的堅城中心，但職員指沒向食環署投訴，附近西餅店負責人亦指母女沒阻礙店舖做生意。

被販管隊帶走 市民追贈100元

昨午12時許，陳母與女兒抵達上址開檔，至下午2時許小販管理隊巡經，指她們非法擺賣要發出傳票及拘捕她們，途人見狀紛紛代為求情說：「今日年卅晚，個個都想回家團年，唔好拉人返去啦！」、「口頭警告算啦！」有人更願代交罰款，但販管隊決定秉公辦理，引來大批市民口諸圍攻。

由於群情洶湧，兩部警車在15分鐘後到場協助調解，有市民不滿說：「現在又不是打劫，又不用捉賊，拉小販都咁大陣仗，簡直浪費警力。」又指摘販管隊選擇性執法，因附近北街當時正有多間花檔及菜檔將貨物放於路上嚴重阻街，但他們視而不見。

擾攘近個半小時，販管隊將母女帶上食環署車輛，一名市民突從人群中撲出，將100元塞向陳婦手中，陳婦報以微笑，寒冷氣溫下感受一絲溫暖。

I will not admit it even I have made the complain in such situation unless I am tired of my life/job and I want to end either one of them

Yeah ..  it is kind of sad ... and I really dont know how those 販管隊 work ...  

Like last yr ..  I was waiting all those 小販 to start 擺賣 ..  they had every thing set up, and ready to do business ... however, bunch of 販管隊 were standing there .. ( may be 25 of them? vs at least 50 diff 小販 ... )  and it was raining ..  

It was funny, those 小販 asked me ( and my friends ) to wait ..  as they couldn't do business yet ....  

Well, we went to eat something .. walk around ..  but after almost 2 and a half hour ..  both sides were still "standing firm" ..    And I at the end .. those 小販管隊 .. caught whoever as ginny pig ...  ( old pity man ..  )   

However, why didn't they catch one of those MK guy who was selling Fake bags ...

As a third party/bystander, I also feel mercy for the mom & daughter and a little angry of the 小販管理隊. However, how if the 小販管理隊 got fired if they didn't arrest enough people or let those people go, who feel mercy for them? Sigh.... life is tough.

法律不外乎人情，口頭警告叫佢走咪得，我真係唔信個小販管理隊會因為咁而俾人炒。

They might not 俾人炒...   but i believe if in this case they just let them go and some people know it.. someone might call and complain..   so either way..  people would say they are not right.

I would say the 小販管理隊 is just doing their job...   it just unfortunate the mom and daughter 擺檔 at that time and that place...   and for sure they should go after other 小販 as well...

唉。。。好懷念以前的香港﹐有很多街檔的。。。
就算一樣的魚蛋燒賣﹐感覺都很不一樣了。。。

我也同意口頭警告就算﹐法律不外乎人情﹐有頭髮邊個想做瘌俐呢

特別響呢D年晚時刻﹐比條路人行下啦﹐唔該。。。
