How did you guys get your little ones to use leashes and collars? Ko B absolutely hates it
Whenever she's on a leash, she would just sit still... not moving a single inch. Tried food and name calling and all, but none is working.
Don't wanna pull on the leash or command her so that she'll be scared of the activity.. but this is hard!
She also hates wearing clothings (I like her without more actually), but it's always windy out and hence a little jacket is defalt for this kinda weather. Her energy level just drops from 150% to 25% when she's in clothings. What to do? :S
Get help from bosley. The first time i got my puppy a leash is at bosley. staffs there are nice. they will help you to choose a leash and adjust it to fit your dog's size. Where did you buy a leash for your dog? Just go back to that pet store.
my puppy hates to wear leash and jacket too as i guess puppies don't get use to that...
your dog will slowly and slowly get use to it... don't worry.
Oh, by the way, i didn't take my dog when he was under 3 months as advised by my vet.
You two can also take an obedience course together.
Community centres have them.
My dog became so much more sociable and behaved so much like a mature dog after the classes.
the first time i put my dog on a leash, he was like that too...but i put a little force and drag him out(he was like a yr old), and once he got outside, he was all happy..and after that one time, everytime i bring out the leash, he gets excited...

I don't know if your is a puppy or not
but dogs that have never been on leash before WOULD ALWAYS NEED sometime to get used to the leash
my dogs, when they were puppies, wouldn't walk when they were on leash
but eventually they realize that leash = 去街 = YEAH!
I personally don't suggest people putting clothing on dogs
cuz I prefer to let them be in the natural was as much as possible
mine always have a lot of fun in the snow too. they don't seem to care about the weather, as long as they get to play or go for walk LOL

Tisol is very good too
their staff all seem to know about dogs at least up to a certain level
