I just read this news and think it's a good thing to warn everyone about what to leave in your backseat or not. Family warning public about safety in the car
Appears woman was struck on the back of the head by her laptop during car accident
It wasn't a big accident. Storey's car hit a tow truck in the intersection of Scott Road and 103A Avenue on March 16th. Police say she shouldn't have died.
Storey's brother Michael Pratt says the police told them she had been struck by something in the vehicle. "And she had some luggage with her for a business trip. And I believe the laptop was in the backseat."
Personally I won't leave anything in my backseat. All heavy items belong to the trunk. If I have to carry anything bigger, e.g. PC. I always bucket them up at the seat. I even bucket the carrying case for my cats if I have to trave with them in the car.
I always wonder what would happen in accident, for those car full of everything in their dash. e.g., I saw big crystal ball (I mean big) hanging under the mirror.
I know... And ppl putting lots of hard toys/decorations. Sometimes, those are even put on top of the air bags!!
I think it's cool to add some personal taste to your car but safety comes first!
