Best thing to do is to go sign up at a good North America-based 1st gen TSX forum, and see what other people are doing. Read a lot of old posts, find out what works, what doesn't, what is popular, etc., and then ask some intelligent questions.
But honestly, if you really want to mod, start out by getting yourself a good set of tires. At the very least, go for some UHP all season. Better yet, get a set of lightweight rims (while keeping the same rim diameter) and mount some (high / ultra high / max / extreme) performance summer tires on the car. Power is useless when you can't lay it on the ground, and braking will improve from the tire change as well.
