Just wondering if people ever had issues with IMPARK and how did you deal with it

yeah, i got a tix from DPS too...i just ripped off the tix and move on.

just dun let DPS catch u again if you are going to ignore it.

lots of ppl told me that they'll ignore it.

The last time I got the ticket, I actually called and argue with the customer service.

I end up paying like $5. It was something wrong with the meter thing, and I didn't pay enough anyways.

I rather get it over with...

I got caught @ aberdeen not too long ago... I paid it cause I did over parked for almost 3 hours... though $45.00 is quite steep! For goodness sake, even the Richmond city's ticket is only $30.00...

Anyway, if you are going to ignore the ticket, that is fine... It's not like they will send anyone to claim your money anyway. But the catch is that in the future you might wanna avoid impark parking lots. The reason is if you get caught parking at ANY of the impark parking lot, they have the right to tow your car at anytime due to the outstanding balance (not urban legend, I've seen this before).

oh... and last time I got ticketed at the aberdeen, I called them and argue with them.
I told them that I went for dim sum, went shopping and then went to the clinic.
The time limit is not enough, etc...blar... blar... blar... (BS... ... ...) (I have moved my car, etc...)
Then they asked me for the receipt. They waived my charges after I faxed to them...

If you dunt mind the trouble, give them a call.
They will always give discount if you are willing to pay, cuz alot of ppl avoid them.

Aberdeen should allow people to park for many more hours since there are so many things to do there.

my mum ignored a parking ticket(can't remember which parking lot), they first sent her few warning letter.  then they passed her case to collection agency.  a year gone by, they still call her few times a day.  when we see the same no. on the call display, we just simply ignore the call.   but not sure is it on her credit bureau.
