hey. you can found timothy hay on craigslist, i bought a huge garbage bag of timothy hay from local farmer for $8, and my rabbit took more than 1 year to finish the whole bag. the quality is better than pet stores, and my rabbit loves it soooo much!!...

they will have links to local farmers in surrey or cloverdale that sells them in big bunches like the auyatat said

vrra sells hay too but the quality isn't as great. (it's more like a grass mix with thorns and stuff =\)

go to PET, and type timothy hay, you should be able to find some sellers

i buy mines from vrra... the quality isn't very consistent. there are some unknown leafs and stuff that i have to hand pick them out before i let my buns dig in

i also occasionally buy hay from one of the members from sars, whenever she goes grab her hay she grabs some for me too (like half a bale), and i pay her back for the hay plus gas... comes to around $13 for half a bale, not bad.

the problem is my buns only eat hard hay, they ignore the soft hay... so i hand pick the hard hay for them and i have A LOT of soft hay left behind.  anyone who wants them can pm me, feel free to pick them up and let's not waste the yummy hay.

I've never bought Hay from them before since they go by the bale and I have no way of transporting it.  But if you buy their pellet foods you can scoupe up garbage bags full of loose timothy hay they have lying around.

Or if anyone can get a bale, I would love to share it with you.
